Melbourne,  June 2026: CloudTech Group, a leading blockchain financial infrastructure firm has joined the OBAA (Overseas Bankers Association of Australia) as its first non-bank member from the digital assets sector.

This marks a milestone in the convergence of traditional finance and blockchain infrastructure. The membership signals growing recognition that digital asset businesses- particularly those operating with the governance standards and regulatory rigour of established financial institutions belong at the same table as the banks reshaping Australia's financial landscape.

General Manger at CloudTech Group, Edward Zhang, said the membership is a natural extension of a mission to bridge digital and traditional finance.
